June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Health Awareness Month! Christy Singrey shines the spotlight on events hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association in celebration of raising awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and promoting brain health in June 2025:

Hope on the Harbor
6/5: On June 5, 2025, the Alzheimer’s Association will host Hope on the Harbor in the Boston area. An annual gala, Hope on the Harbor brings together corporate and philanthropic leaders.
Ride to End ALZ
6/14: Ride to End ALZ is a bicycle ride event that takes place on June 14, 2025. Volunteers and supporters can support this event by raising funds for research or riding in the cycling event.
Walk to End Alzheimer’s
Held on a global scale, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s is an annual event that encompasses a variety of walks in more than 600 communities nationwide. Walk to End Alzheimer’s to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research, as well as care and support of those affected.
The Longest Day
6/20 – 6/21: The Longest Day is a global fundraising event held during the summer solstice every year. Taking on a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) approach, the event encourages people all over the world to participate in an activity that they enjoy — and encourages others to donate to the Alzheimer’s Association in support of their research and resources. Christy Singrey recommends that her blog readers participate in the Longest Day with an activity that they enjoy — think hiking, walking sports or even crafting!
